Founded by seasoned safety professional Jaren W. Garrett, LockIn Safety Consulting was born out of a deep commitment to protecting lives and empowering organizations to take ownership of their safety culture. After years of leading HSEQ initiatives in a high-risk industry, Jaren recognized a critical gap: while many companies had safety policies, few had the tools to truly engage their workforce and leadership in meaningful, lasting change.

The name “LockIn safety” symbolizes the company’s core philosophy—locking in safety as a non-negotiable value, not just a compliance checkbox. It reflects a mindset where safety is embedded into every decision, every process, and every level of leadership.

Your Safety, Our Priority

With over 25 years of experience in the mining industry, I have built a strong foundation in both operational excellence and safety leadership. The first two decades of my career were dedicated to production leadership, where I led teams in achieving high-performance targets, optimizing processes, and ensuring operational efficiency in challenging environments.

Over the past 7 years, I have transitioned into a Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) leadership role, where I continue to drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement. My focus has been on implementing proactive safety strategies, fostering team engagement, and aligning safety initiatives with organizational goals while maintaining a hands-on leadership approach.

My dual background in production and safety allows me to bridge operational needs with safety priorities, ensuring sustainable performance and a strong safety culture across all levels of the organization.
